This guide takes you from an empty workspace to a repeatable, reviewable automation.
Complete onboarding
Create the workspace, describe the business, and build your personal agent. Enter your website URL, or choose I don’t have a website and describe the product instead. Connecting tools and keeping recommended agents are optional. Choosing a plan is not: the last onboarding screen asks you to pick one.
Follow Complete onboarding for each screen and decision.
Create an agent
- Open Agents and click New agent.
- In the builder, name the agent, describe its role and instructions, and add only the docs, skills, and connection tools the work needs.
- Click Save. The agent’s page opens.
- Send a small representative request in the chat on the agent’s page.
To try an agent without leaving the builder, open the agent, click Edit, then choose the Test tab. See Create and test an agent.
Create an automation
- Open Workflows and click New.
- Choose Autopilot to give one agent a recurring task, or Workflow to build steps on a canvas.
- For a workflow, add the steps in the order they should run. Use Insert data to pass an earlier step’s output into a later step.
- For an Autopilot, fill in Name, What should happen?, Who does the work?, What should it produce?, and Trigger, then click Create autopilot.
Workflows is a Beta feature. See Workflows and Autopilots to choose between the two.
Run and review
- For a workflow, open the Run tab in the builder to start a manual run. For an Autopilot, switch it to Active, then click Run now.
- Open Workflows, choose the Runs tab, and open the run.
- Inspect step status, outputs, and any pending approval. Approve or reject the proposed action from the run rather than recreating it elsewhere.
Turn on the trigger
After the manual run is correct, set the trigger live. For a workflow, use the Trigger live toggle in the builder header. For an Autopilot, keep the switch on Active. A new Autopilot starts paused. Review the trigger and the recent runs before you leave it on.
