Billing shows the workspace’s current plan, credit balance, renewal or cancellation date, and credit history. It also holds the plan limits that decide how much automation a workspace can run.
Where to find it
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, click Settings, then click Billing under your organization’s name. Every member can read the page. Only organization admins can choose a plan, open the billing portal, or add credits.
How a workspace gets a plan
A new workspace chooses a paid plan in the Choose your plan step near the end of onboarding. The step has no skip option, and you pay on Stripe’s checkout page. You can cancel at any time from billing settings. For prices and what each plan includes, see the pricing page.
- Start, Pro, and Max are the self-serve plans.
- Enterprise is arranged with the team. Use Talk to us in the Upgrade your plan dialog.
- Free is the plan a workspace falls back to when it has no subscription. It has small limits and is not a starting plan.
Without an active subscription, Autopilots and other background work stop, and a banner titled Autopilots are paused appears on the Workflows page with a Choose a plan button. AI features such as ticket triage, knowledge website scans, and chat file uploads also need an active subscription. While Stripe retries a failed payment, the workspace keeps working.
Manage the plan
The Current plan card shows the plan name, a Renews on or Cancels on date, and Included features.
- In Current plan, click Upgrade Plan. The button appears only while the workspace has no paid plan.
- In Upgrade your plan, choose Monthly or Yearly. Yearly shows 2 months free.
- Click Choose Start, Choose Pro, or Choose Max, then confirm and pay on Stripe.
When a workspace has a paid plan, the card shows Manage Billing instead. It opens Stripe’s billing portal, where you manage payment details, renewal, and cancellation. When a plan change is set for the end of the billing period, Billing says so, and you keep the current plan and credits until then.
After checkout, Billing can take a moment to show the new plan. It displays “We’re confirming your subscription with Stripe” until the plan updates.
Plan limits
Plans limit how much automation a workspace can run. The table lists the limits that you can reach when you set up Autopilots, workflows, and triggers. The values shown in Billing and on the pricing page are the current source of truth, because limits can change.
| Limit | Free | Start | Pro | Max | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Workspace projects | 1 | 2 | 5 | 10 | Custom |
| Scheduled jobs active at once | 1 | 5 | 25 | Unlimited | Custom |
| Fastest schedule | Weekly | Daily | Hourly | Hourly | Custom |
| Event and webhook triggers | No | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Inbound auto-reply | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Concurrent runs per workflow | 1 | 2 | 5 | 20 | Custom |
- Scheduled jobs are active Autopilots and workflows whose trigger is a schedule or a poll. A poll checks a connected app every few minutes. The count covers every workspace project in the organization. Paused and archived items do not count. A poll must also meet the Fastest schedule limit.
- Event and webhook triggers include triggers that start when a connected app fires an event. See Triggers and webhooks.
- Inbound auto-reply lets a connected inbox draft replies automatically, for example Gmail auto-draft.
- Concurrent runs per workflow applies to each workflow separately. A workflow with two runs in progress on Start has used its whole allowance, and a different workflow still has its own. A run over the limit waits in a queue and starts when another run finishes. It is not dropped. A dialog titled At your concurrency limit tells you when this happens. See Troubleshoot workflow runs.
AI Agent checks these limits when you turn something on, for example when you activate an Autopilot or set a trigger live. If you are over a limit, the action is refused with a message such as:
- “Your plan runs 5 scheduled jobs at a time. Pause one, or upgrade to run more.”
- “Your plan runs a schedule at most every 24 hours. Upgrade to run it more often.”
- “Event triggers need a higher plan.” or “Webhook triggers need a higher plan.”
AI Agent does not check the limits again later. After a downgrade, active Autopilots and workflows keep running. The Workflows page shows a banner titled “You’re above what plan name allows” that lists what is over the limit. You cannot turn on anything new until you are back within the plan or you upgrade.
Review credits
Credits measure eligible AI Agent usage. The Credits card shows how much of the monthly allowance you have used.
- The headline shows the percentage used and the days until the allowance resets, for example “Resets in 12 days”. A badge reads On pace, Ahead of pace, or Under pace.
- Remaining and Included show the credits left and the monthly allowance.
- Top-up balance appears when you have bought credits.
- A warning titled Credits running low appears when less than a tenth of the allowance remains. Credit limit exceeded and an Overage figure appear when you have used more than the allowance.
Top-up packs add credits on top of the monthly allowance. Click Add credits and choose a pack. The button is available to admins, and it is disabled without an active plan, with the note “Top-up packs need an active plan.” Top-ups never expire, and AI Agent uses them after your monthly credits run out. Included plan credits reset each billing period. The dialog lists the packs and their prices.
Creative storage and Knowledge storage meters on the same page show how much of each storage allowance you have used.
Understand usage
Transaction history sits at the bottom of the Credits card. Each row shows a label and the credits added or deducted. Labels include Plan grant, Period reset, Top-up, Refund, Plan refund, Top-up refund, and Credit reversal. A deduction for work carries the name of the action, for example “Email draft”. Choose Load more to see older rows. Use the history to investigate unexpected consumption.
Messages you may see
| Message | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Autopilots are paused | The workspace has no active subscription. | Click Choose a plan. |
| You’re above what plan name allows | Active items exceed the plan limits, usually after a downgrade. | Pause what you do not need, or upgrade. Everything keeps running. |
| Your subscription is not active | The same banner, when a payment problem is the cause. | Update the payment method in Manage Billing. |
| Credits running low | Less than a tenth of the monthly allowance remains. | Add a top-up pack, or wait for the reset. |
| At your concurrency limit | A run is queued behind others. | Wait. The run starts when a slot frees. Do not submit it again. |
| No active subscription — choose a plan to continue | An AI feature needs an active subscription. | Choose a plan in Billing. |
If something looks wrong
Confirm the selected workspace, billing period, transaction history, and run status. Contact support with the relevant transaction or run details if the displayed information still does not explain the change.
