The agents we set up for you can now use your connected apps

Built-in agents like your Operations Agent were created without access to the project's connections. They now use them.

When you create a project we set up several agents for you — an Operations Agent, a Site Health Auditor, a Competitor Analyst, and the agents behind each autopilot. Most of them were created without access to the apps you had connected, so an agent that should have been able to read your inbox or post to Slack quietly could not.

They can now use every connection on their project, and existing agents have been updated rather than left behind.

Two things are deliberately unchanged:

  • Agents you created yourself keep whatever you chose. They start with no connections and you pick what they can reach, which is the point of choosing.
  • Your Email Assistant still has no connections. It drafts replies to email that arrives from outside your organisation, so anything it reads could have been written by someone else. Giving it blanket access to your connected apps is not a trade worth making, and it is the one agent we will not do it for.

If you had explicitly picked connections for an agent, that choice was left alone.
