A tour that runs before you have anything to look at asks you to remember features you have not needed yet. We have replaced it.
- Each section introduces itself. Instead of one tour up front, the part of the product you have just opened explains what it does, with a preview of the real thing rather than a drawing of it. Every preview is the component you will actually use, so what you see during setup is what you get afterwards.
- Setup ends with your workspace. The last step lays out the pieces together — your agents, your inbox, your tables, the widgets on your overview — so you finish with a picture of how they fit rather than a list of things you were told about.
The same layout now appears on the homepage and the pricing page, because the honest answer to “what am I paying for” is the product itself.
