# Test a connection and get a real answer

The Test button now asks the provider whether your account still works, instead of reporting healthy without checking.

- Testing a connection reaches the provider. Most connections were being reported as working with no tools listed — an answer that was never actually checked. A connection whose access has expired or been revoked now says so.
- Connection details list their tools again. The tools and permissions for a connection were coming up empty, so there was nothing to review or restrict.
- An untestable connection is reported as untested rather than broken, so a momentary provider outage no longer marks a working connection as failed.
