# Inbox replies send once

A reply you send from an AI draft in the Inbox goes out once, even when the send button is pressed twice.

![A drafted reply with its send button pressed twice. Only one message leaves the draft, and a note says the reply is already being sent.](/changelog/art-inbox-replies-send-once.webp)

- A second press while the first send is in flight shows that the reply is already being sent
- A send that fails releases the draft so you can try again
