# Gmail connections stay connected

A brief hiccup while a Gmail connection is re-checked no longer marks it as broken, so inbound mail keeps flowing.

![A Gmail connection staying linked to the inbox while a short re-check hiccup passes beside it.](/changelog/art-gmail-connections-stay-connected.webp)

- A connection is marked as broken only when the account itself cannot be read
- Due-ticket reminders retry after a temporary Telegram error instead of being dropped
